Audio Fuzz was founded in 2011 by Chris Ryan of Chris Ryan Productions and Promotions. The site originally started as a blog on Tumblr, as Ryan saw a need to expose all the music that he felt his community was not hearing. He swiftly began networking with music public relations agencies, managers, and musicians. As the popularity of the Tumblr site grew, Ryan saw the need to create something bigger and developed a website that was quickly picked-up by several music public relations firms. As the music submissions started flooding his inbox, Ryan procured writers, a photographer, and social media handles for the site.
Ryan and his team have covered large music festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, SXSW, Panorama, and concerts across the United States. Today, Audio Fuzz is known in all music circles and is one of the go-to sites for the LGBT community when it comes to music.
