Frank McIntyre is the author two novelized collections of short stories, "Press" and "Social Networking for Demons". An accomplished writer, his interests lie primarily in the fantasy, YA, literary, and short story genres, though he makes a sincere effort to transcend genre. Someday he may succeed.
Currently, McIntyre resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with his cat and a long-distance fiancé who lives in Argentina. He supplements the vast income of an unknown author with a job as the Director of IT for a small broadcast engineering firm. In between editing his already written novels, he dreams about writing a sequel to "The Lord of the Rings" and possibly answering the question of "What Would Jesus Do?".
McIntyre has lived in New York City, Houston, and Baton Rouge most of his life, but he has always nursed a sincere desire to build a utopia somewhere in the wilderness, but within range of a decent Wi-Fi signal, of course. His non-writing interests include vegan cooking, reruns of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", telling people he thinks deep thoughts, and exercising for vanity. His favorite authors include Robert Jordan, George R.R. Martin, Neil Gaiman, Kate Atkinson, Barbara Kingsolver, and Margaret Atwood. He also listens to far too much Tori Amos, but then, really, what is too much?
