Mathew Knowles found phenomenal success grooming and managing the mega group Destiny's Child. He is now handing out mics to Blush, a harmonically blended hip-hop and R&B trio, and since 2013, they are using their mics to mix fiery rhymes and hooks.

Hey, what's up? It's Bunni Ray from Blush Music. And today I'm gonna speak to you guys about change. Growing up in a large family with siblings, I'm the baby of five, of course, a lot of the times as the baby, you kinda get looked at as, you know, you're the brat, or why does she get this? Or you know, just because my family went through changes of coming from four to having more, so a lot of the times I was a lot more blessed. But those things I did take for granted and it made me become a very self-centered person. Well, meeting the group two years ago, the first time I met the girls, they were just full of life and very, I would say, dependable. And transitioning from having a home base that was very large to having a group of three and I'm still the baby yet again. And I felt like, okay well, God, what are you trying to tell me? You know, I'm being put in another unit, but I'm the baby again. And I felt like that happened for a reason, because it was time for me to change. It was time for me to come out of my ways. And I'm still changing every day. I'm not perfect. But meeting the girls and knowing that, you know, I'm still feeling the same circumstances, I felt that I was able to realize that I changed when I was able to make sacrifices or compromise certain things that I wasn't comfortable with. And I feel like a lot of times, the reason why you don't wanna make changes because you've become so comfortable. And it's okay to be uncomfortable and take a risk and jump. So I felt like with the group, I'm jumping. And the more that I'm able to make those changes, the better person I'm gonna become. So that's what change means to me.
