Force M.D.'s is an American R&B vocal group that was formed in 1981 in Staten Island, New York. Later, Trisco Pearson joined the group.
Hi, my name is Trisco, from the Force M.D.'s. And my topic today, I really wanna talk about love, 'cause I know there's a lot of us out there that had made love, had love, had loves in their life and lost love. But the main song that I really wanted to talk about was a song called Tender Love that was written and produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, from the group Time, if y'all remember that. And also there's Janet Jackson and stuff like that. And that song was also featured in the movie Krush Groove with Run-D.M.C. and Kurtis Blow. Back in the '80s, we was doing things like that. That's made it broad-stream for rap, and as far as R&B music. We flew down to Indianapolis to do the song, which we had to watch the movie set on TV, and then what they was feeling, that love scene, see that's that love scene, that's what we talking about, love, with Sheila E. and the dude, if you watch the movie 'cause I can't remember everybody's names. But at the end of the day, love means having someone special and being around people that you do care for, and also getting the same feed back. Me, T.C., Mercury, Jesse D., Stevie D, we went down there, and we did the track. We had fun. But sometimes you don't meet people, 'cause we didn't know Jimmy Jam, we didn't know Terry Lewis and nothing like that from Adam. But that step from doing the movie and being with Tommy Boy Records, that expanded our group, that expanded our music, that's how we got picked up, and we got signed to Warner Bros and stuff like that. So, like I said, a lot of times when it comes down to love, it's love. And that's what we write. Such as Tears and Tender Love.
