Neddy Smith is an internationally well-known bassist, educator, composer, performer, and recording artist. Born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Neddy fuses his cultural tradition with a new perspective on jazz. His concerts are interactive, energetic, and informative. His music is fresh and enjoyable from the title track of "Mood Swing" to "There Goes Monk", which is a dedication to one of his early icons of jazz. Neddy will go into his vocal improvisational style and other tracks from some of his earlier works such as "Busting Out" and others he has performed, but not yet released.
