Broadway Sings for Pride to Lend Voices to The Original LGBT Expo

Cast members from "The Book of Mormon", Disney's "The Lion King", "Jersey Boys", and more will perform on the main stage at The Original LGBT Expo, the largest and longest-running LGBT convention in the world this weekend (September 9 and 10, 2017) at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City (655 West 34th St., New York, NY 10001). The event is free of charge. Performers will be representing the award-winning non-for-profit charity Broadway Sings for Pride. The schedule is as follows:

Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 2:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.

In an effort to be fully inclusive, Life Out Loud Events, producers of The Original LGBT Expo, have taken yet another step forward. For the first time in its storied history, the expo will be 100% free to attend.

Aptly titled "Shefik presents Invocation", the nationally syndicated radio show is a mesmerizing and thought-provoking journey through musical discovery and appreciation that spans the decades. The show is currently broadcast on over 20 terrestrial radio stations and frequencies throughout the United States. Each one-hour episode, executive-produced and hosted by media personality Shefik, highlights one relatable focal point (chosen by Shefik), along with an accompanying playlist of songs (curated by Shefik), encompassing a unique thematic concept that invigorates the audience with creative impact.
