Haley Smith is a 15-year-old songstress/recording artist from the Bronx in New York City, discovered at the age of nine. She is of Jamaican-American descent. Smith has performed on various stages throughout New York, such as the Apollo Theater (winning amateur night), and at venues, which include B.B. King Blues Club & Grill, Stage 72, Iguana New York, and the Arts on Third Festival in Westchester County.

Smith's influences range from contemporary pop star, such as Adele and Christina Aguilera, to soulful belters, such as Etta James and Aretha Franklin. Smith is currently a student of "Ready to Sing" and mentored by her vocal teacher/coach Eva Soto.
