Songs to Invoke Resilience
Life is a constant dialogue of veiled meaning and interpretive dance. Oftentimes, dreams are lost in moving translation, via the echos that channel voids of nothingness and unfulfillment. It is this lack of execution that may drive a person to question their path to destiny. However, the answer lies within you, and here lies the truth to resilience.
The diplomatic nature of resilience is the presentation of choice to give up — knowing full well that you can — if you so desire to do so. While faced with such a choice, you insist to travel on. Resilience is the art of sweeping the nerve to cast up another brushstroke after a downstroke, reforging the frame of your broken pieces, to embody yourself in a better piece of mind.
Mirror your thoughts by the reflection of your determination to remain steadfast and whole. Surpass the temperament of shattered glass.
As the saying goes, "If you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans."
This saying is derived from a Yiddish proverb that proclaims, "Man plans, and God laughs."
So, here's my plan, and I'll make no apologies, because this is me. After the laughter subsides, know your presence is still warranted. Your presence alone is a present to those who are gifted enough to disclaim any pretense. Failure does not need to function as the punctuation to your story. Rather, let it serve as the conjunction to your glory.
Don't be consumed by darkness. Don't let the quest for light be dimmed by the shadow of despair. Don't forget to just be the person who you are meant to be.
Awaken to the dawn. You are the rising sun.
