Judge Judy is an American arbitration-based reality court show presided over by Judy Sheindlin. The show features Sheindlin adjudicating real-life small-claim disputes within a simulated courtroom set. Prior to the proceedings, all involved parties signed arbitration contracts agreeing to Sheindlin's ruling. The show airs in first-run syndication, and is distributed by CBS Media Ventures.

First broadcast in 1996, the series won three Emmy awards and garnered high ratings among syndicated programming in the United States. Sheindlin and CBS renewed their contract through the program's 25th season (2020–21). In March 2020, Sheindlin announced the 25th season would be its last. An October 2020 announcement stated the successor show Judy Justice would stream on Amazon's ad-supported IMDb TV with a to-be-determined title and premiere date.
