Songs to Invoke Perseverance 2
Experience the Journey
Some say the road to Hell is paved with good intentions. It is one of those throw away truisms, which no one can really extend beyond the imagery of the metaphor. It is often accepted that the worst places in existence are reached, sometimes with the best intentions. This may true. Yet, I prefer to believe the worst places you will ever find yourself are a direct result of, in some fashion, at some point, you refusing to persevere.
Quitting, giving up, throwing in the towel. There are many ways in words and pop culture to express the opposite of perseverance. In the age of exaggerated media, hour-based news cycles, and the immense lack of short-term memory by the social media consumer, the very notion of sticking to a particular goal, belief, desire, or purpose can give off the aroma of something outdated, maybe even stale.
