Jaafar Jackson is a rising singer, songwriter and entertainer in Los Angeles, California. He is the second youngest son to legendary singer, songwriter, and producer Jermaine Jackson and nephew to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson and Queen of Pop, Janet Jackson.

As a young child, Jaafar had aspirations of being a professional golfer, however, having grown up surrounded by a family of iconic entertainers in Encino, California his entire life, it was only natural that Jaafar followed suit.

As the Jackson family notably holds the most powerful musical influencers in the world, Jaafar naturally has an amazingly eccentric and extraordinary taste in music. Along with listening to film scores, Jaafar spends his time showcasing a great deal of variety in his selections from icons such as Sam Cooke and Marvin Gaye to Nat Cole and Johnny Mathis and his late uncle Michael Jackson.

Beginning his music career at the tender age of 12, Jaafar is well versed in playing the piano and has developed a slew of techniques and a wealth of knowledge of music and artistry. Jaafar and his younger brother Jermajesty originally planned to be a music group, however they are now both preparing a solo career while doing stuff together as well.

A creative spirit, Jaafar also shares his appreciation for the arts which includes drawing, traveling and a keen love for fashion. Outside of America, his favorite places to visit are Hong Kong and Austria. The landscaping, shops, and great energy are what Jackson says makes these places dear to his heart.

In 2014, a six-episode reality TV series Living with The Jacksons was announced in which Jaafar was featured, alongside his siblings Jermajesty, Donte, Randy Jr, Genevieve and mother Alejandra Jackson. Unfortunately, the production of the series was never finished and eventually got cancelled for broadcast.

In 2015, Jaafar (and Jermajesty) made brief appearances on their cousins' series The Jacksons: Next Generation. That same year 2015 Cathay Pacific Inflight Magazine August edition featured a special on Jermaine Jackson and his sons including exclusive photos of father and sons. In 2015 Jermaine Jackson wrote and recorded the song "iPANDAS I Love You" with Jaafar and Jermajesty and a teaser of the yet unreleased song was made available by JHH Entertainment Limited, however the song was never released.
During the televised MAX Proms event in The Netherlands on December 2nd 2017, Jaafar made his stage debut when he performed together with his father Jermaine and brother Jermajesty singing "The Christmas Song" live on stage with the full Metropole Orchestra.

In 2018, Jaafar partnered with NASGO to facilitate tokenizing and monetizing his content and to use who their VAPR app and his Music tokens to incentivize fans to purchase like, follow, comment, and share content and he rewards them with experiences, for example a studio visit when he records his next song. The Jusic token was launched with NASGO during NASGO Nation Celebration at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on 27 October 2018 with a special performance of Jaafar with 1500 or Nothin'. Jaafar is poised to revolutionize the music recording industry in a move that will soon become pervasive for many performing artists. Jaafar will also use the blockchain technology to support and advance social causes, and to continue the social impact legacy begun by Michael Jackson and currently championed by members of the Jackson family including father Jermaine.

With dreams of traveling to Paris and collaborating with renowned producer Rick Rubin, Jaafar's timeless tenor voice, captivating swagger, and magnetic Pop and R&B vibe are sure to lead him to influence people of all demographics. He wants to be remembered as an artist who makes great music by telling stories, all while inspiring people to be themselves. Jaafar is going to be a superstar and his music and his mission is to provide social impact in the world.

Mentored and guided by father Jermaine, Jaafar is preparing his debut album and spending a lot of time in the studio and working on music with a team of producers and writers. For his debut album, Jaafar worked with producer Indiigo. Jaafar Jackson released his long anticipated debut single "Got Me Singing" on June 28, 2019. Jaafar's debut full-length album is titled "FAMOUS" will be released on his birthday, July 25th.
