Georgia Bright Engel (July 28, 1948 – April 12, 2019) was an American actress. She is best known for having played Georgette Franklin Baxter in the successful sitcom The Mary Tyler Moore Show from 1972 to 1977 and Pat MacDougal on Everybody Loves Raymond from 2003 to 2005. During her career, Engel received five Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
